Membership details
The basic agreements for membership will include:
- To be a member, you understand that you will share
in the risk with the farm & agree to excuse Twin Persimmons Farm for any seasonal mishaps that might occur. You
understand that some months will not have produce available
due to the season.
- You understand that each week's produce will be different and based upon seasonal availability, insects, weather, and other Acts of God. In case of national/local emergency, delivery may not be possible and you agree not to hold the farm liable in such an event.
- You understand that you are committing to an annual subscription and agree to pay in advance in three equal payments DUE no later than January 1st, April 1st and August 1st. A seasonal share will be managed, harvested and prepared for you each week.
- You understand that you are committing to a season and your pre-payment fees help cover the annual costs of labor, fertilizer, seed, equipment, etc. to develop the CSA garden and that NO refunds are available, however, you may cancel at anytime.
CSA workshares
Twin Persimmons Farm workshare program provides an opportunity to learn how to grow your own food and obtain a weekly share of the harvest. Workshare schedules entail a one month minimum commitment of one morning per week from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
Workshare duties vary throughout the year though include all phases of production and CSA management. Workshare duties include soil care, propagation, cover crop management, compost making, crop care, harvest and distribution.
